What a relaxing & wonderful break it must be ... sleeping baby, drying wool and knitting. Life is good!
The roving looks so pretty! I wish I could figure out spinning. Can't wait to see your finished German Stockings :)
Merry-go-round!
What a beautiful little boy! And the wool's not half-bad, too. :)
Lovely roving! I've finished spinning up singles from your Invisible Man colorway. Now I have to just ply wait.
I love sleeping baby pictures! When my girl was an infant I would go into her room once a month and videotape her sleeping for a few seconds. The theory is that when she's a teenager and I'm ruining her life and she hates me I can sit down (after she storms out and slams the door)and watch her growing up while she sleeps; perfect and sweet and peaceful. If she's not the same kind of teenager I was then we'll have fun watching the tape together.
The sleeping baby has the right idea. That is where I am headed soon. I will be getting my first spinning wheel Sunday. I can't wait. I will have to keep my eye out for your roving when I get the hang of it.
watched wool never dries is like we say "the rice is not ready until it is ready"- hahaha.
I love that moment when they give in to sleep.
:-)
My Littlest is a Diego fan, too.
The new roving looks good. Bet that won't last once it's up on Etsy!
I have a not-so-secret love affair with carousels. It's almost embarassing.
Aaaaaaw! What is more precious than a sleeping child? I can't think of anything in the world.
everyone needs breaks for sanity's sake! :) lots of lovely roving!
