Happy Canada Day (to me!!!)

I love you Dye O Rama swap pal!!!

peach

YAY!! I have the best pal ever. She's been super worried about my package making it here, while I was just super curious to see what she had made up for me and who she was! :) Patience is a virtue, etc... I received a super package today all the way from my Canadian swap pal, Adrienne. I have *never* had a better smelling yarn package arrive at my door... I opened it right when my mailman handed it to me and even he remarked how sweet it smelled :)

I love it. For reals, as soon as I finish this post I'm winding it and knitting some socks. :)

Here is "Peaches & Cream" in some pr0ny shots for all yall voyeurs out there... (myself included)...

  2. Beautiful yarn! That's one of my faves I've seen so far! Can't wait to see what you are making out of it.

You have a great 4th of July - our town is having our 4 day celebration called "Privateer Days". I just got back from taking the boys on the rides and getting over priced cotton candy and canned pop. I wanted a candy apple but couldn't bring myself to pay $3 for one. Both boys were in the parade today, tomorrow night fireworks. (Don't ask me why we never have our fireworks on July 1. I think it's maybe because a lot of people go to nearby towns to watch theirs on July 1 - then they come from their towns to watch ours.)

Do you know when the summer Knitty is out? I'm anxious to see your design!

  20. Downward facing "leafy" lace pattern.

Are you still looking for this kind of thing?

If you are there is one posted on

although this lace pattern is a panel in a baby blanket, I bet you can find a way to use it for what you want!
